The Role

As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be part of the core team building Dawnguard’s platform. You’ll work on cloud infrastructure and automation, contributing to the secure-by-design architecture that powers our product.

You’ll collaborate with founding engineers, product designers, and security experts to:

• Design and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Implement and manage IAM policies, SSO, and device management platforms
• Optimize system performance and ensure compliance.
• Manage MS E5, Defender for Cloud, etc.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for Dawnguard’s platform.
• Automate deployment and configuration workflows using IaC tools.
• Implement and maintain IAM policies, SSO, and zero-trust security models.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security posture.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate security into every layer of the architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, IT operations, or DevOps
• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
• Experience with endpoint management and MS security products (Intune, Purview, and Sentinel etc.)
• Familiarity with SSO, VPNs, MDM, and zero-trust security models
• Bonus: Experience in remote-first environments or startups.
